HEAT EXCHANGER PILE LOAD-TEMPERATURE
This examples demonstrates the influence of a heat exchanger pile. Due to the generated temperature field, the pile and soil get extra thermal strains and stresses. Because of this, extra plastic deformations are induced in the soil. The calculation compares several results with a large in-field experiment. In this calculation an extra load is applied to the top of the pile. Below we give some results.
